Jade Orient Express

I went in at 4:00pm and came out with two dishes to-go at 4:50pm. Food were above the average but for thet sake of my precious time I would go to the other place next time. You have lots of other choices in this area. I don't know what's gonna happen if I go there in the meal time if I have to wait for an hour at 4pm. I am surprised to see many reviewers got treated very nicely by the owner. That was not my impression. I wasn't even greeted or apologized for long wait.

Simply the best food for the best price

This place was a hidden gem. We were in an unfamiliar area picking up something I bought on OfferUp. And we were starving came across this place and took a chance after reading one of the reviews. Well let me tell you they did not exaggerate my eight year old son told the owner he was going to give him 60 Stars he really loved the food thank you Jade Orient Express for helping us survive hungry stomachs

This place makes delicious food and the people there are very nice. There are many other hole in the wall Chinese restaurants between my home and Jade Orient Express. Still, I come here because the food is truly remarkable.

Good food at decent prices. The lady working the front end is nice and friendly.

Jade Orient is an amazing restaurant. Everything is flavored to perfection and seasoned expertly. If you haven't been there, get out there and do it!

The salt and pepper wings were good, but everything else was just okay. Nothing to write home about. I would stick to Panda Express or Pick-Up Stix since their food tastes better and costs less.

Cozy family run Chinese restaurant which manages to hold it's own despite the larger number of other Chinese places in Arcadia. Highly recommended for basic Cantonese (HK style) fare.

Never had a bad meal, always fresh and friendly, even though I always get take out. But there are not a lot of little Chinese places here in Temple City, you have to go to live Oak Ave but there if you are not Chinese it's hard on both sides to understand, not here.

One of the best Chinese food places. My favorite is number 57 but i replace the veggies with broccoli. The food is just delicious and freshly made.

Best Chinese restaurant around Arcadia. The porridge is the most delicious one I've ever had. Kung-Pao Chicken is another must-have.

This is my family's go-to "hole-in-the-wall" local Chinese food. Everything is fresh and homemade. I always get the seafood chow mein with crispy noodle, fish with ginger and vegetables, clams with black bean chili sauce, salt and pepper pork chop/ chicken wings/tofu, eggplant in garlic sauce, and yang chow fried rice. They are also famous for their chow fun. The price is affordable and the hostess is always friendly and helpful.

The food so so so delicious here!!!!! I ordered chow fun, fries tofu, oyster and egg. Very affordable. The lady help me so nice! The restaurant is small but feel cozy. Definitely will come back for more chow fun!!!!

Can't get any fresher vegetables than here. Everything is freshly made and so good.

I think a lot of people pass this place just because of the way it looks. YOU SHOULD NOT pass this place. It's an Arcadia staple, mom and pop restaurant, it has been there for almost 12 years. Do you want great tasting food and fast service? You should pop in. You can either eat there, to-go, or call-in and pick up on the way home. It's cheap. The lady runs the front of the house and remembers all the regulars (and their orders). You can definitely tell that the customers love this place when you are there and the phone is ringing non-stop with orders.
